Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field. Requires two 2 years of experience in a test or validation engineer position in the automotive sector. Experience must include the following Writing test cases and test reports for feature and vehicle requirements; testing electrical and mechanical vehicle systems for vehicle software and hardware validation; detailing test procedures on electrical test bench; managing vehicle test assets for subsystem validation and CANbased systems; troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis for testing failures; coordinating test plans and procedures for vehicle system validation and creating test reports; performing verification and validation of vehicle features; and working with crossfunctional engineers and suppliers to resolve issues that arise during vehicle feature validation testing.
