Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field. Requires at least one 1 year of experience in a software or research engineer position working on autonomous vehicle software. Experience must include the following Designing and developing complex, highly scalable, and latencyoptimized motion planning systems that enable autonomous vehicles to navigate safely in dense city traffic; Writing robust and scalable autonomous vehicle code in C and Python applying knowledge of robotics, artificial intelligence, sensors, and behavior planning; Prototyping and developing algorithms that directly impact vehicle behavior, including algorithms that enable vehicles to autonomously proceed in difficult scenarios; Testing autonomous vehicle and analyzing results to improve algorithm performance and vehicle safety; Designing test suites and metrics pipeline to verify functionality and ensure no regression; Conducting independent research and analysis to improve planner architecture and achieve high performance in complex urban driving scenarios; and Writing technical design documents, conducting software skills interviews, and patenting significant technological advances.
