Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering. At least 5 years of experience in a mechanical engineering position for an automotive company. Experience must include Designing and developing automotive components, including interior and trim components, from concept to production to meet performance, quality, mass, and cost targets; Engineering and designing automotive component parts including 2D sections, 3D data and 2D drawings with CATIA V6; Researching and proposing materials and textures to meet vehicle level performance and craftsmanship requirements; Supporting vehicle engineering development milestones and prototype and production build events; Compiling, maintaining, reviewing, and updating technical engineering documentation including DFMEA and DVPR; Engineering release and maintain BOM up to date using 3DExperience Enovia and CATIA V6; and Providing support for vehicle builds to rootcause design issues, find and implement solutions and corrective actions.
