Requirements for the Principal Systems Engineer position include Bachelors degree in Automotive Engineering or related engineering field, plus 9 years of systems engineering experience in the automotive manufacturing industry, and demonstrated experience with Modeling languages UML or SysML; Modeling tools such as IBM Rhapsody; Applying design standards such as ISO26262 and tools such as DFMEA or FTA for safety critical systems; Developing electronics, motors, sensors, software, and control systems; Data logging, dynamic modeling, software debugging, and associated tools such as CANape, MatlabSimulink; Statistical analysis and associated tools such as Minitab; CAN tools; Debugging C Code; Requirements development; and Requirements management tools such as DOORS. In lieu of a Bachelors degree plus 9 years of experience, we will accept a Masters degree in Automotive Engineering or related engineering field, plus 7 years of systems engineering experience in the automotive manufacturing industry, and demonstrated experience. Requires travel to domestic andor international locations.
