Requirements Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related engineering field required. Three years experience in a civil or geotechnical engineering field. Experience must include one year within providing technical field support for mining, geotechnical, dam, transportation, civil or environmental projects; performing subsurface investigations, instrumentation services, quality control and assurance, and engineering analysis; preparing documents including engineering drawings, specifications, work plans, bid documents, calculations, and cost estimates; performing design using at least 4 of the following Rocscience Slide 2D3D, gINT, Apile, Lpile, GRL WEAP, or AutoDesk AutoCAD; scoping, budgeting, executing, and interpreting field work, reconnaissance, geotechnical instrumentation, and subsurface exploration; and preparing geotechnical data reports, settlement calculations and engineering recommendation reports using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Rocscience Slide 2D3D, gINT, Geologismiskis CPeTIT, Rocscience Settle3, and Python 3. 25 travel required.
