Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Industrial Design, or closely related field plus 2 years of progressive experience as a Designer or Furniture Designer in the readytoassembly RTA casegoods furniture industry. Must have experience with managing all design related aspects including initial design research, conceptualization and manufacturingbr process. Experience must include tracking design progress and overseeing production related issues with manufacturing. Experience must also include conducting market research for conceptualizing product strategy, analysis for new and improved products, detailing design direction, and managing the product throughout the lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizingbr product and customer requirements. Experience must also include furniture manufacturing skills, such as metal bending, wood cutting and shaping, CNC, laminating, plastics, extruding and molding; and furniture construction skills, including furniture assembly processes and testing standards. Experience must include knowledge of the following technologies 2D sketchingbr Autodesk Sketchbook Pro, 3D modeling Rhinoceros 5 SolidWorks, 3D rendering KeyShot AutoDesk 3ds Max, Adobe Photoshop Illustrator, and Microsoft Office Suites.
