1. Bachelors degree in Civil, Structural, or Electrical Engineering from an ABETaccredited engineering program.br 2. Ten 10 years of experience as a Transmission Line Engineer in a consulting or utility environment.br 3. Five 5 years of experience leading and mentoring teams to deliver design and construction packages, which may have been gained as part of or in addition to the Transmission Line Engineer experience.br 4. Additional experience must includebr Power Line Systems Software and other programs, including PLSCADD, PLSTower, PLSPOLE, CAISSON, SAG10, MFAD, TFAD and LPILEbr NESC, NEC, ASCE, ACI and IEEE standardsbr Line routing, structure spotting, structural analysis and design, foundation design, hardware selection, conductor and shield wire selection, material specifications, technical support during constructionbr Design and review of Transmission and Substation Foundations.br Review of structural steel drawings and loadings.br Developing tools andor software to increase efficiency in the design of highvoltage power lines.br 5. U.S. professional engineering license.br 6. Applicant may work remotely but is expected to travel to project sites within two weeks notice. Project sites could be located in Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New York, or Florida. Anticipated travel is 510 of the year.
