Requires a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or developing synchronous electric motor products with incorporated electronics, including motor design, manufacturing process design, validation, and certification. Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following Configuring, conducting technical analysis, and calculating results of permanent magnet electric motor topology; designing electric motor solutions and their matching controllers for most favorable manufacturability; operating dynamometers and other electric motor laboratory equipment, such as oscilloscopes, noise and vibration spectrum analyzers, power analyzers, anemometers and others, following Safety Standard entities guidelines for testing electrical motor and its controlling methods; utilizing VSD programming to test electrical motor products; ensuring electric motor products are in compliance with local and international regulations, including products for safe or hazardous areas; supervising a team of technicians in performing laboratory evaluation and tests of electric motors with or without incorporated electronics; and assisting in recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training technical staff.
