As this employee is responsible for leading a development team of software engineers, including multiple programming languages and a global deployment, the role demands highly developed technical skills. In addition, this Software Development Manager plays a key role in the development and testing of software used in the maritime shipping industry worldwide. Because of the level of responsibility that this position entails, as well as the serious consequences of errors, VNC has determined that at least a Masters degree and 7 years of relevant experience are necessary, or a Bachelors degree and 9 years of experience.
