ANY SUITABLE COMBINATION OF EDUCATION, TRAINING OR EXPERIENCE IS ACCEPTABLE. Requires Bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field followed by 8 years of progressive experience in software engineering, network engineering, and advanced wireless networking, using C, C, JavaJ2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, SQL, PLSQL, InMemory database, NoSQL database, Graph database, Oracle, and Cassandra. In lieu of a Bachelors degree followed by 8 years of progressive experience, employer will accept a Masters or foreign equivalent degree in the fields stated above and 5 years of experience in the skill sets stated above. Experience therein to include 5 years with Kafka, Pulsar Message Bus, MQ, and SOAP and REST Web Services; 3 years with Dockers, Kubernetes, LinuxUnix, KamudaJenkinsBonita Workflow Engine, ONAP DMaap, Helms Chart, Python and Ruby Scripting. May work from home within commuting distance of Verizons office in Temple Terrace, FL.
