ANY SUITABLE COMBINATION OF EDUCATION, TRAINING OR EXPERIENCE IS ACCEPTABLE. Requires Bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications or Engineering, or a related field followed by 5 years of progressive experience designing and developing applications using JavaJ2EE, C, C Data Structures, Python, Perl, Unix Shell scripting, Java Web Services, WSDL, Oracle, SQL, PLSQL, and MySQL. In lieu of a Bachelors degree followed by 5 years of progressive experience, employer will accept a Masters or foreign equivalent degree in the fields stated above and 3 years of experience in the skill sets stated above. Experience therein to include 3 years with Oracle BRM portal development, administration and operations, including performance tuning, pipeline rating, CM, DM, REL, UEL configuration, upgrades and patching activities; 2 years with AWS, Splunk, Nagios, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Wireshark monitoring, Atlassian tools like confluence and Jira; and 1 year in Oracle BI installation, configuration and reports creation. May work from home within commuting distance of Verizons office in Alpharetta, GA.
