Special Requirements Demonstrated direct service experience with individuals with disabilities; demonstrated history of positive working relationships with teachers, clinicians, administrators, and faculty; demonstrated expertise in either i evidencebased reading and language arts instruction for students with disabilities, or ii early childhood special education. Required skills and other requirements may be earned during advanced educational studies. Preferred Qualifications Qualified candidates who have one or more of the following qualifications will be given preference demonstrated expertise in effective instruction and curricular adaptation to support the inclusion of children with disabilities; demonstrated expertise in explicit and systematic instruction; research focus on children who represent culturally and linguistically diverse populations; relevant birth12 grade teaching experience; demonstrated expertise in single case research design; demonstrated expertise in quantitative analysis including multilevel modeling and other advanced statistical techniques; demonstrated expertise in multitiered systems of academic and behavior support response to intervention and schoolwide positive behavior interventions and supports; demonstrated expertise in applications of behavior analysis in education; demonstrated ability to obtain extramural funding for research andor training activities; and demonstrated expertise in assessment, evaluation, andor policy in education.
