Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related field and five 5 years of experience in the job offered or as an Associate Director, Latin America Mergers Acquisitions, Associate Director, Analyst Investment Banking Associate, Employee, Analyst or related role. Will alternatively accept a Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related field and three 3 years of experience in the job offered or as an Associate Director, Latin America Mergers Acquisitions, Associate Director, Analyst Investment Banking Associate, Employee, Analyst or related role. Position requires experience with the following all stages of the MA transaction life cycle; Latin America MA markets and trends; Latin American capital and financing markets; working in investment banking in Latin America for a global financial institution; leading teams across multiple jurisdictions; performing crossborder MA transactions; executing carveout transactions; working with publicly traded companies on MA transactions; client onboarding processes conflict clearance process, Know Your Customer KYC procedures and Environmental and Social Risk ESR evaluations; negotiating debt and equity commitments; working on sell and buyside MA transactions; working on leveraged buyout transactions; equity and debt capital markets transactions; working on investment banking transactions with corporate clients and financial sponsors; negotiating MA transaction agreements merger agreements, share purchase agreements, transition services agreements and supply agreements; financial modeling; valuation analysis; and preparing and presenting privatepublic fairness opinions and valuation reports. Position also requires fluency in Portuguese and Spanish.
