This position requires a Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field, plus 6 years of experience in a strategic sourcing role within a large manufacturing or multiindustry global organization. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with 1 Purchasing tools and practices Systematic Investigation for Cost Reduction Opportunities Technical and Commercial, Negotiation with suppliers, VAVE practices, Idea Generation Section IGS, and Linear Price Performance LPP and Global Sourcing; 2 Costing and analytical skills Cost breakdown analysis and supplier spend analysis data for use in procurement, Purchasing Price Variation PPV, and Standard cost for goods sold; 3 ERP system SAP or Oracle; 4 Castings, Forgings, Stampings, and Machining Components; 5 Metals OR Mechanical Components; and 6 OEM products Original Equipment Manufacturer.
