Must have 5 years of progressive experience in data or software engineering positions performingutilizing the following planning and managing IT projects; applying data architecture concepts and technology; performing data engineering and managing large data volumes; developing, building and maintaining data platforms; developing, maintaining, and improving deployment pipelines for infrastructure, applications and data; and utilizing experience with Big data concepts; Linux; Unix; Scala; Python; Spark; Hive; HBase; Kafka; GIT; Storage Systems HDFS andor GPFS; FTP; Shell Scripting; SQL; and MSSQL. Position may be eligible to work remotely but is based out of and reports to Truist offices in Alpharetta, GA. Must be available to travel to Alpharetta, GA regularly for meetings and reviews with manager and project teams within 24hours notice.
