Company headquarters are in Pittsburgh, PA and onsite placement for this position is preferred, however working remotely continental US only is possible with this position. If working remotely, employee is required to be at HQ once a quarter for a weeks time;br BSBA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering or a related field is required;br Minimum of three 3 years of professional work experience in a multitenant platform serviceSaaS product company environment;br Proficient knowledge of Ruby on Rails is required, including background processing framework e.g. SideKiq, RabbitMQ, Sneakers Gem minimum of three 3 years of experience in the developmentsupport of a Rubybased application framework;br Proficient understanding of HTML5CSS and clientside frameworks is required minimum of three 3 years of combined experience with JavaScriptes5, Vue.js,Jquery and Bootstrap;br Familiar with both SQL Postgres and noSQL Redis, Influx database technologies, and the ability to create database schemas that represent and support business processes minimum of three 3 years of combined experience is required;br Proficient understanding of code versioning tools GitHub preferred;br Management of hosting environment, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes;br Demonstrated experience in the use of Continuous Integration platforms i.e. Travis CI, CircleCi;br Demonstrated experience in the use of Performance Management tools Papertrail, New Relic, Grafana;br Familiar with healthcare information systems background HIPAA compliance;br Demonstrated experience minimum 2 years in the following areas is strongly recommended Open Web Application Security Project OWASP, Attributebased filtering through the Elasticsearch engine experience with Searchkick preferred, Linux operating systems and dockerized container orchestration, Unit Testing via Rspec, Jest, Integration Testing Capybara and Automation Testing Selenium frameworks;br Familiar with the differences between multiple delivery platforms such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform;br Familiar with fundamental design principles behind a scalable application;br Familiar with the following toolsplatforms is a plus AWS Lambda, Aptible, Zenhub;br Familiar with common software development life cycle methodologies, including waterfall and Agile models Agile strongly preferred;br Selfmotivated with the ability to handle multiple tasks;br Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with a serviceoriented attitude in a team environment, includes interaction with internal staff as well as customer staff members and the ability to effectively convey computing concepts to nontechnical staff.
