Five 5 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation performing linear and nonlinear modeling of structures utilizing commercial software including SAP and Etabs; performing linear finiteelement FE modeling using commercial software; supporting postloss services including evaluation of damaged buildings and structures, plan remediation, cause and origin analyses, engineering assessments for reinstatement of damaged buildings, building code upgrades analyses, and specialized claims analysis; designing temporary stabilization systems, including repair, and strengthening of unstable structures; performing forensic investigations, including field investigation for data collection, preservation and documentation of forensic evidence, and analysis. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelors degree in the abovelisted fields and seven 7 years of progressively responsible experience in the abovelisted skills. 35 travel required. Any suitable combination of experience of education, training or experience is acceptable.
