Requires a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Machine Learning, Electronics Engineering or a closely related field. Must have work or academic experience in Mechanics, robotics, indoor localization and computer vision; Using realtime robotic control, sensor fusion, localization, mapping, path planning, and navigation algorithms; Robotic Operating System ROS; Simulation, 3D modeling and visualization of robot control algorithms and sensor data; Machine learning, deep learning and reinforcement learning; Programming languages of Python and C; Communicating complex quantitative analysis; Foundational technology development through handson experimentation and application; and Transforming scientific challengesthinking into working prototypes. Experience may be gained through coursework. Successful applicants must pass a 3part assessment including technical coding, and provide a satisfactory technical presentation in addition to two interviews.
