MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSbr br Education A masters degree U.S. or foreign degree equivalent in humancomputer sciences, information sciences, or a closely related field.br br Experience Two years of experience in user experience research or related occupation.br br Or in the alternativebr br Education A bachelors degree U.S. or foreign degree equivalent in humancomputer interaction, information sciences, or a closely related field.br br Experience Four years of experience in user experience research or related occupation.br br SKILLSSPECIAL REQUIREMENTSbr br Experience must include 2 years of experience with each of the followingbr br Planning and conducting research projects across various product phases, including ideation, product definition, user validation testing, and postlaunch iterations;br Collecting and analyzing human behavior data to improve product plans and UX designs in a technology industry setting;br Collecting, analyzing, and reporting on survey data from users;br Conducting generative studies to inform user personas;br Working in an academic or applied research setting with a variety of technology products;br Understanding of strengths and weaknesses of different research methods including user survey, generative study, diary study, usability testing, and moderated and unmoderated user studies, and making recommendations on when to apply appropriate methods;br Publishing research studies for an internal audience; andbr Communicating user research findings across an organization to drive impact.br br Experience may be gained concurrently.
