In H.4 and H.4B above, the education requirement is a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related.br br In H.10B above, the experience requirement is two 2 years of experience in automotive seating, interiors, or a combination thereofbr br In H.8A and H.8C above, the employer will accept a Masters degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related in lieu of a Bachelors degree or equivalent and two 2 years of experience as described above.br br Special Requirements Academic background, internship, or work experience to include Experience with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards FMVSS and Economic Commission for Europe ECE for automotive seating designs; GDT; Quality systems in a manufacturing environment; Quality problem solving methods e.g., fishbone diagrams, FMEA, process capability analysis, hypothesis testing, DoE, SPC, or Six Sigma; Experience with seat manufacturing assembly process including sub assembly interactions; Risk management and product review; DFEMA review; and Gauge RR for measurement system analysis. Successful completion of reference checks and background checks is required.br br Special requirements defined at H.14 not to be conflated with H.8C andor H.10A. There is no timing requirement associated with the special requirements defined at H.14, unless specifically stated otherwise.br br Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.br br In F.2 above, the All Other SOC is assigned based on the extension 172199.02, Validation Engineers.
