In H.4 and H.4B above, the education requirement is a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related.br br In H.10B above, the experience requirement is six 6 months of experience in machining, composite layout, mechanical engineering, or a combination thereof.br br Special Requirements Academic background, internship, or work experience to include Design for Manufacturing DFM; 2D drawings and 3D shape generation using CAD modeling or CATIA v5; Manufacturing processes including plastic injection molding, metal stamping, thermoforming, welding, brazing, plating, heat treating, bonding, or direct machine shop; Experience working with sensors e.g., forces gauges, thermocouples, or pressure gauges; Digitaltoanalog conversion systems or data logging; Excel or JMP for data collection and related data analysis; MS PowerPoint to present decision matrices and charts; and Experience designing experiments to control relevant variables, fabricate test setups, and evaluate prototypes for use in production designs.
