In H.4 and H.4B above, the education requirement is a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering. Mechatronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related.br br In H.10B above, the experience requirement is five 5 years of progressive experience in developing, implementing, and testing power conversion or thermal controls.br br In H.8A and H.8C above, the employer will accept a Masters degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering. Mechatronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related and three 3 years of experience in developing, implementing, and testing power conversion or thermal controls in lieu of a Bachelors degree or equivalent and five 5 years of progressive experience as described above.br br Special Requirements Work experience to include Device, circuit, thermal system, or controls theory fundamentals to include at least one 1 of the following Solidstate Physics, Power Electronics, Electrical Circuits, Power System, Thermal Dynamics, or Dynamical Systems and Controls; Experience with handson testing and troubleshooting of power conversion units such as system integration, hardware, software, firmware, thermal or cooling systems; Embedded firmware development for realtime controls systems; Matlab, Simulink, Hardwareinloop HiL, or Softwareinloop SiL for computer simulations; C, C, or Python programming; CAN or Ethernet communications; and Firmware validation including unit tests, regression, or sequence automation. Successful completion of reference checks and background checks is required.br br Special requirements defined at H.14 not to be conflated with H.8C andor H.10A. There is no timing requirement associated with the special requirements defined at H.14, unless specifically stated otherwise.br br Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
