In H.4 and H.4B above, the education requirement is a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Physics, Mathematics, or related.br br In H.10B above, the experience requirement is seven 7 years of experience in Applied Solid Mechanics, Material Science, or a combination thereof within a product development environment.br br In H.8A and H.8C above, the employer will accept a Masters degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Physics, Mathematics, or related and five 5 years of experience in Applied Solid Mechanics, Material Science, or a combination thereof within a product development environment in lieu of a Bachelors degree or equivalent and seven 7 years of experience as described above.br br Special Requirements Work experience to include Finite Element Analysis FEA; Solid works cosmos, Autodesk Inventor, MSC Adams, or Nastran; Experience working with aluminum, steel, composite structures, or joining methods for crashworthiness; Experience using computeraided engineering CAE simulations to design crash test setups; and Project management. Successful completion of reference checks and background checks is required.br br Special requirements defined at H.14 not to be conflated with H.8C andor H.10A. There is no timing requirement associated with the special requirements defined at H.14, unless specifically stated otherwise.br br Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
