Experience must be postBachelors degree.br br In H.8A and H.8C above, the employer will accept a Masters degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related and six 6 months of experience in control algorithm development, systems design, mechanical engineering or a combination thereof in lieu of a Bachelors degree or equivalent and two 2 years of experience as described above. Pre or post Masters degree experience is acceptable. Experience must be postBachelors degree. NOTE Employer entered 0 years in box 8.C rather than 6 months per the DOL FAQ.br br Special Requirements Academic background, internship, or work experience to include Control systems theory e.g., linear systems analysis, state estimation, controller design, or related including nonlinear and robust control; Heattransfer and thermodynamics, basics of motion control systems, and electric propulsion; Thermal system devices e.g., pumps, radiators, fans, or refrigerant systems; Experience creating control oriented dynamic models of mechanical, thermal, hydraulic, or electrical systems; Model development and data analysis in Matlab or Simulink; Embedded firmware development in C or C; and Experience in prototyping, testing, and refining algorithms in actual vehicles and real hardware. Successful completion of reference checks and background checks is required.br br Special requirements defined at H.14 not to be conflated with H.8C andor H.10A.
