In H.4 and H.4B above, the education requirement is a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related.br br In H.10B above, the experience requirement is five 5 years of progressive experience in designing HVAC Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning systems for industrial, pharmaceutical, biotech, or semiconductor type facilities.br br In H.8A and H.8C above, the employer will accept a Masters degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related and three 3 years of experience in designing HVAC Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning systems for industrial, pharmaceutical, biotech, or semiconductor type facilities in lieu of a Bachelors degree or equivalent and five 5 years of progressive experience as described above.br br Special Requirements Work experience to include Mechanical, Plumbing and Fire Protection Codes; International Energy Conservation; NFPA standards; SMACNA duct construction standards; ACGIH Ventilation Practices; ASHRAE 62 and 90.1; Trane or Carrier HAP; Revit and AutoCAD; Experience calculating duct static pressure drop, pump head, NPSHa, steam and condensate pipe sizing, and fuel gas pipe sizing; Construction Administration including field reports, punch lists, answering RFIs, and reviewing shop drawings; and Experience preparing mechanical contract drawings or engineering specifications. Must have registered Professional Engineer PE license at the time of hire. Successful completion of reference checks and background checks is required.br br Special requirements defined at H.14 not to be conflated with H.8C andor H.10A. There is no timing requirement associated with the special requirements defined at H.14, unless specifically stated otherwise.br br Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
