Experience must be postBachelors degree.br br In H.8A and H.8C above, the employer will accept a Masters degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related and six 6 months of experience in motor modeling, analyzing electric motors, or a combination thereof in lieu of a Bachelors degree or equivalent and two 2 years of experience as described above. Pre or post Masters degree experience is acceptable. Experience must be postBachelors degree. NOTE Employer entered 0 years in box 8.C rather than 6 months per the DOL FAQ.br br Special Requirements Academic background, internship, or work experience to include Experience in electromagnetic design of induction motor or permanent magnet motor; Standard motor control theory including various types of field orientation control and direct torque control; Matlab or Python programming; Finite Element Method theory and development; Classical control theory and predictive control theory; Experience with automated or semiautomated motor loss measurement; Power analyzer and oscilloscope; and Veristand. Successful completion of reference checks and background checks is required.br br Special requirements defined at H.14 not to be conflated with H.8C andor H.10A. There is no timing requirement associated with the special requirements defined at H.14, unless specifically stated otherwise.br br Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
