In H.4 and H.4B above, the education requirement is a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related.br br In H.10B above, the experience requirement is three 3 years of experience in automotive interior component engineering, subsystem engineering, or a combination thereof.br br In H.8A and H.8C above, the employer will accept a Masters degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related and one 1 year of experience in automotive interior component engineering, subsystem engineering, or a combination thereof in lieu of a Bachelors degree or equivalent and three 3 years of experience as described above.br br Special Requirements Work experience to include JIRA; Product Lifecycle Management PLM; MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project; Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis DFMEA or Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis PFMEA; Continuous improvement or Kaizen; and Six Sigma certification not required or Design for Six Sigma DFSS. Approximately 15 domestic and 30 international travel required to unanticipated supplier sites to review manufacturing processes and capabilities, review components, and support development and launch of new vehicles and parts. Travel expenses to be paid by employer. Successful completion of reference checks and background checks is required.br br Special requirements defined at H.14 not to be conflated with H.8C andor H.10A. There is no timing requirement associated with the special requirements defined at H.14, unless specifically stated otherwise.br br Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
