Requires 1 year of experience in all of the following applying advanced mathematical and fundamental probabilistic or statistical concepts to solve engineering problems; analyzing data and perform engineering calculations and analysis specifically related to lateral earth pressures, shallow and deep foundations and the stability of cuts and slopes; project management as it relates to construction management, including estimating, scheduling, and safety; mechanical and physical properties of soil or rock and their relation to developing geotechnical engineering solutions, including classifications, permeability, strength, and consolidation properties; designing shallow foundations, including the design of reinforced concrete footings, deep foundations, excavations, and cofferdams; and analysis and design of traffic and transportation systems, including geometrics, flexible and rigid pavements, vehicle flow, data collection, and traffic forecasting.
