Requires a Masters degree in Robotics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus 1 year of Autonomous mobile robots experience. Additionally, position requires 1 year of experience with all of the followingbr br 1. Integrating motion hardware and firmware for Autonomous mobile robots including autonomous forklifts and tuggers.br 2. Designing, developing, and implementing control strategies for Autonomous mobile robots.br 3. Evaluating and validating drives, motor controllers and sensors for Autonomous mobile robots.br 4. Computer vision libraries and machine learning libraries like TensorFlowKeras, PyTorch, JAX or Scikitlearn.br 5. 3D sensor and processing of Point Cloud data for object detection.br 6. Using GPU based computer units for implementation and optimization of vision processing algorithms.br 7. Using camera and LIDAR for object detection and localization.br 8. Robot Operating System ROS framework and implementation of ROS on an Autonomous mobile robot.br 9. Optimizing sensor placement and calibration fixtures for sensors to endeffectors on an Autonomous mobile robot.br 10. Simulation tools including Gazebo, Webots, VREP, or NVIDIA Isaac Sim.br br 10 of domestic and international travel required.
