This position requires a Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field, plus 10 years of work experience in software engineering in a functional or objectoriented language Java. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with 1 Implementing REST APIs for applicable consumer applications; 2 Making technical architecture decisions, setting code standards, and documenting them; 3 Unit and integration testing with frameworks JUnit and Mockito and setting up production monitoring using tools Splunk, Kibana, and New Relic; 4 Designing and optimizing relational databases MySQL and workingbr with highlyscalable and distributed systems using eventdriven architecture with tools Kafka; 5 Converting monoliths to microservices and working with AWS tech stack EC2, Cloudwatch, RDS, Route 53; and 6 Maintaining the CICD process by doing tasks such as configuring Maven for builds, setting up githooks, and creating Jenkins pipelines.
