Masters or equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related technical field and 2 years of experience with structural analysis and fluid dynamics for consumer products; or a Bachelors or equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related technical field and 5 years of experience with structural analysis and fluid dynamics for consumer products.br Must have experience withbr o Fundamentals of Machine Design, including gears and springs.br o Fundamentals of Structural Analysis, Fluid Dynamics, Thermodynamics and Electricity, Magnetism, and Circuits.br o Material properties, including structural, thermal, fluid, and electrical.br o CAD systems.br o Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.br o Finite Element Analysis, Computational Fluid Dynamics analysis, and Multiphysics Analysis.br o Programming dynamic systems and Sound Vibration analysis systems.br o Data Acquisition, Transducers, and strain gauging.br o Design of experiments, including LabView.br o Design principles for assembly, machining, die casting, injection molding, sheet metal, PM, and screw machine.br o Use of rapid prototyping in design process.br o Project management and training junior engineers.br Up to 5 domestic and international travel required.
