Must have a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field, and 4 years of related work experience; OR a Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience.br br Of the experience required, must have 2 years of experience with the following Microsoft Office software including MS Word, Excel, Outlook; Power System Modeling and Analysis including ETAP or SKM; Utilizing AGi32 or Visual Lighting software for modeling and photometric analysis; Voltage drop calculations, conduit fill calculations, and design of power distribution systems; Low and medium voltage electrical distribution design and engineering calculations; Interpretation of code and standards including NEC, NFPA, or IEEE; Preparation of plans and specifications for construction of electrical power distribution systems and lighting systems based on power system and photometric analysis; and Collecting and interpreting data from field observation, record drawings, and manufacturer published information and incorporate in the design calculations and plans.br br Must have an active Professional Engineer license from the State of Louisiana.br br Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
