Masters or foreign equivalent degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or in a closely related field of study Will accept a Bachelors degree 5 years of related progressive professional experience in lieu of a Masters degree each alternative requirement with at least 1 year of experience in i medical device manufacturing environment; ii Design of Experiments DOE, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing GDT assessments, and Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility RR assessments; iii utilizing CAD software such as Solidworks andor Creo to design tooling and fixtures; iv statistical analysis tools and methodologies, including JMP or Minitab and Statistical Process Controls; v Instron and MicroVu CMM measurement systems; and vi Design for Manufacturability, Corrective and Preventive Actions CAPA, Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis PFMEA, andor Test Method Validation.
