Must know through academic training or work experience 3D printer technology SLA and DLP; experience working in medical device industry; materials characterization and structure function relationships of polymers plastics; creating tailored experiments that use common analytical techniques, such as FTIR, Soxhlet extraction and GCMS to gain deep understanding how to reduce biological toxicity from a chemistry and postprocessing perspective; ability to lead complex research effectively and solve challenging technical problems; apply regulatory requirements and translating into testing metrics.
