Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Instrumentation and Controls, or a related field, and 8 years of experience in the job offered or an acceptable alternate occupation. Must have 8 years of experience with the following skills maintenance and operations experience with Siemens or Westinghouse Combustion Turbines, next generation gas turbines, Steam Turbine and Generators; extensive experience with SPPPA T3000, TXP, OVATION and WDPF Control Systems; widespread knowledge of Commissioning, Startup and Tuning of multifuel turbines; understanding of Steam, Gas and Generator instrumentation; proficient in interpreting and understanding Mechanical, IC, PID and electrical drawings and schematics. Approximately 95 domesticinternational travel required. Available for oncall services 247. Must be able to pass both required background checks and required drug and alcohol testing.
