Requires a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 4 years of experience in the wind turbine industry with programming and control of wind turbines. Must have experience in SCADA systems; Basic design requirements including technical, commercial, and programmatic constraints on projects as well as customer orders; Directing and coordinating the designbr documentation including drawings, Bill of materials, technical reports, manufacturing documents, and test plans; Leading design reviews both internally and with customers to resolvebr technical and programmatic issues; Providing support to customers and the Customer Service group to maintain existing designs and resolve customer field Issues; Working with otherbr design hardwaresoftwarefirmwarecontrolfibernetwork engineers in the preparation of project documentation to support the electrical, instrumentation and control systems for equipmentbr and installation; Checking designs and drawings prepared by others including vendor documentation e.g. Substation, Fiber Optic Layout, MV collection system, IP Addresses, OPC signalbr and MODBUS signal lists; Supporting field during construction, startup, and commissioning including providing training to field technicians and customers; Performing data trending analysis for corrective design of turbine control systems; Network design and configuration; and Ensuring all cyber security requirements are met while performing related tasks according to NERCCIP.
