Must have 2 years of experience with the following skills turbomachinery research and development; Computational Fluid Dynamics CFD, including ability to setup, perform, and interpret CFD results with a high level of expertise particularly for complex turbine aero flow fields; Turbine Design Optimization, including ability to setup, perform, and interpret aerodynamic and multidisciplinary optimization design and analysis processes for gas turbine flow paths and components; Gas turbine heat transfer design and analysis of blade, vane, and other flow path components; Gas turbine flow path aerodynamic thermodynamic performance analysis, including diffusers; Test rig conceptualization, setup, operation, and data reduction for gas turbine aerodynamic performance quantification and validation. Approximately 20 travel required.br br As a federal contractor, Siemens Energy continues to monitor federal and state legal guidelines regarding the COVID19 vaccine mandate.
