Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field or foreign degree equivalent and 8 years of experience in the job offered or in an acceptable alternate occupation. Must have 8 years of experience with the following skills Thermodynamics of gas turbines, combined cycle power plants and steam turbines; knowledge to read and understand Heat Balance diagrams and PIDs; Mechanical and electrical skills needed for instrumentation inspection; advanced Excel skills including VBA; knowledge of importexport regulations for international shipping with applied experience in export documentation; understanding requirements of calibration and calibration procedures with advanced knowledge in calibration software; expert user expertise in Labview, Excel, Fluke and MCPS. Employer will accept 2 years of experience in lieu of a bachelors degree. Approximately 75 travel required. Must be willing to be medically cleared to work at heights, in confined spaces, in hot environments, wearing an air purifying respirator, and working in in the vicinity of electrical equipment. Must be able to provide information for, and obtain, clearance for nuclear plant access including mental health, drug and alcohol, as well as criminal background checks.
