Must have a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field plus 10 years of postbaccalaureate progressive experience in power systems engineering and analysis; or a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field plus 8 years of experience in power systems engineering and analysis.br br Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in each of the following which may be gained concurrentlybr br Working knowledge of electrical power systems under both normal and abnormal conditions;br Creating complex models of electrical power systems;br Creating complex engineering documents and drawings;br Overseeing endtoend electrical power system projects;br Researching electrical power systems and analyzing data from power systems studies;br Completing load flow and harmonics analysis;br Developing complex protective relay settings for microprocessor based protection relays; and,br Performing costbenefit analysis to determine feasibility of potential actions and to mitigate issues.
