Requires a Ph.D. in Biology or biology subspecialty. Requires 2 years experience as an Assistant Professor or Researcher in the field of Marine Biology. Experience must include a research examining the spatial ecology, migration and mortality of fresh water fish within the Great Lakes watershed; b using acoustic telemetry to compere the postspawning distribution of fish, determining spawning site fidelity, identifying environmental characteristics associated with spawning movements, determining stock and sexspecific thermal preferences, and elucidating natural mortality rates; c project coordination, field work, data analysis and manuscript preparation. Must have demonstrated achievement in the field by having authored or coauthored at least 10 scientific articles or reviews published in journals in the field of marine biology, such as Journal of Thermal Biology, Environmental Biology of Fishes, American Fisheries Society Symposium Series, Experimental Biology and Ecology, Conservation Physiology, Journal of International Wildlife Law Policy, Fisheries Research, Journal for Nature Conservation, Journal of Fish Biology, Bulletin of Marine Science, BioScience, Ecology of Freshwater Fish, Freshwater Biology, North American Journal of Fisheries Management, or similar.
