Candidates must possess, at minimum, a Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related. All candidates must also possess knowledge, as evidenced by passing a basic technical proficiency test, of all four of the following subject matter areas 1 mechanical engineering theory, principles, design, and applications; 2 principles, theory, and application of Design for Manufacturability DFM to simplify and optimize product design and build; 3 failure mechanisms and design methods through which to prevent or eliminate such failures; and 4 use and application of tolerance study and analysis. Note All candidates for all engineering positions at the company must pass a basic technical proficiency test.
