This position requires a bachelor degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering or a related field, plus 5 years of experience as a Controls Systems Engineer or related occupation OR in the machinery controls industry. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with 1 Reviewing specs and defining the project at the proposal phase; 2 Define Hardware requirements and design third party systems integration; 3 Development of PLC logic using FBD and Functional text programming; 4 Control systems design for Steam Turbines, Gas Turbines, Compressors or Generators, including but not limited to Speed Control, MW and Droop Control, Various Process Controls, AVR, Generator Protections and Surge Control; 5 Utilizing Wonderware Intouch to develop HMI per customer requirements; 6 Planning and performing of Factory and Site Acceptance testing; 7 Commissioning and startup support of control systems; and 8 Specifying, interfacing, and troubleshooting of field Instrumentation and Control Valves.
