Applicants must hold a B.S. in Civil Engineering or closely related discipline, and a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, by the date of hire. Applicants should be active researchers who will develop and maintain an extramurally supported research program, publish and disseminate research findings, and serve as leaders at the forefront of their field. Applicants should have a demonstrated record of excellence andor show exceptional promise for highquality research, teaching, and professional development that could contribute to one or more of the following areas Mitigation of coastal hazards due to a changing climate; Resilient coastal structures and flowwave structure interaction systems; Flood prediction and longterm flood adaptation; Remote sensing and other innovative techniques for evaluation and prediction of coastal area dynamics.
