Requires a Bachelors degree in Aerospace or Aircraft Engineering. Requires 2 years experience in the job offered or as a Material Planner. Experience must be for a company providing aircraft parts, repair, maintenance and logistics services. Experience must include a plan, evaluate, validate and request spares, GSE ground support equipment and POL petroleum, oils and lubricants based on maintenance requirements; b review all maintenance requirements to determine if requests can be satisfied from available stock or return of spares from repair; c coordinate with maintenance planners to review and approve inlieu part numbers provided by vendors to ensure parts are interchangeable; d action provisional review reports every 6 months to identify parts shortages to support future missions and inspections, and e conduct monthly reconciliations with maintenance to discuss status of requisitions and identify urgent issues that may affect operations.
