Requires a Masters degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field plus 2 years or a Bachelors degree plus 5 progressive years of experience administering MS SQL Server databases in a production setting. Experience must include 2 years with each of the following 1 working with data warehouses and data marts that are greater than 1 terabyte in size; 2 implementing and administering database backup and disaster recovery procedures; 3 configuration and experience working with MS SQL Always On Availability Groups; 4 tuning the performance of databases using MS SQL Studio using third party tools including IDERA; 5 troubleshooting database issues. Employer will accept any reasonable combination of experience, education and training.
