In addition, the Consular IT Officer provides IT support to the Thai Royal Consulate and coordinates and manages necessary IT communication systems during the Royal Family and Thai Government Officers visits; thus, being able to communicate in Thai is necessary. Therefore, our Consular IT Officer must be able to write communication in both English and Thai on our website, and must be able to speak and understand Thai in order to coordinate, manage, and maintain the IT communication systems of the Royal Thai Consulate.br br Also, please note that we are checking quot;yesquot; on H.15 because the prevailing wage determination said the occupation was a combination of occupations 151244 Network and Computer System Administrators, and 271024.00 Graphic Designers. However, we disagree because the only duty related to Graphic Design is quot;creating visual communication designs and maintaining the Consulates official website in English and Thaiquot;, which includes quot;creating graphic design banners in Thai and English to notify the public regarding current news and the Consulates activities.quot; However, this duty is a very small part of the job duties, in fact, it is merely incidental to the duties of a Consular IT Officer, as the vast majority of the job duties entail maintaining and managing the overall IT system, including the network security system and the Consulates classified data base and server system, applying and maintaining the encrypted communication network system, applying and maintaining several econsular service application systems, managing the security system on the premises, and coordinating and managing necessary IT communication systems during the Royal Family and Thai Government Officer visits. Thus, the job duties are in line with the occupation of Network and Computer System Administrator, and the occasional update of graphic design banners on the website is not enough to also be considered a Graphic Design occupation.
