Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field and 2 years of or a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent as stated above and 5 years of experience working with OEM, TIER1 or automotive industry. Experience must include creating BOM and BOP on a given design, and assigning cost; Working with Cost Model creation, Design to Target, RFQ Analysis and Negotiation; Ground up piece price and tooling experience with Stamping BIW, interior fabrication, plastics, steering, lighting, brakes, and chassis; and create systems and processes for costing to improve accuracy and efficiency.
