Requires a Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, ElectricalElectronic Engineering or a closely related field, and 2 years of QA or software development experience. Employer will accept, in the alternative, a Bachelors degree in one of the requisite fields and 5 years of QA or software development experience. Academic training or experience must include mainstream objectoriented programming languages such as C or Java, or scripting languages such as Perl or Python; networking appliances devices and tools managed switches, routers, caches, Wireshark, Ixia or Spirent Smartbits; logical debugging; working with and maintaining Unix or Linux flavored environments, including trouble shooting issuesproblems with those systems; and at least one year of experience in managing a team of software engineers.
