Employer requires a PhD in Aerospace Engineering or a related area. Employer considers a PhD in Mathematics and Statistics involving research applications to aerospace engineering to satisfy the degree requirement. Employer requires demonstrated excellent potential to A build an independent research program at the forefront of their field, and B potential to educate and mentor students. In satisfaction of these requirements, Employer accepts demonstration of one semester 16 weeks within an institution of higher education, research organization, or a similar environment, in any role involving A i research in one of the listed fields or related areas; possible titles include but are not limited to to Research AssistantAssociate titles, postdoctoral research titles, Researcher titles, Research Scientist titles, faculty titles, visiting faculty titles, research intern titles, or similar titles; or ii publication in journals, scholarly books or chapters, presentation of invited talks, poster or oral presentations at conferences or symposia; and B teaching, instruction or mentorship in or of the listed fields or related areas; possible titles include but are not limited to Teaching Assistant, Instructor titles, Lecturer titles, faculty titles, Visiting faculty titles, or similar titles. This PERM application is filed for permanent employment certification for a university teacher.
