The position requires at least a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering or a closely related field of study and 4 years of experience as a Design Engineer, Test Engineer, Mechanical Designer, Design Leader or closely related occupation working in the automotive industry.br br In lieu of a Bachelors degree in stated fields and 4 years stated experience, will accept a Masters degree in stated fields and 3 years of stated experience.br br Also requires three 3 years of experience in the followingbr br Catia.br ENOVIA system TDM or KEOPS.br Plastic design standards.br Injection tooling design.br 3D analyzer.br Siemens Teamcenter software.br OPTIMAP work package.br Interpreting OEM specs.br Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing GDT.br DFMEA and design reviews.br Performing product validation including functional, geometry, cosmetic quality, product tuning including mold tuning and fixture tuning.br Working with German OEMs such as BMW, Volkswagen or similar company.
